Níjar village (Almería)
| For the sun and sea lovers, Níjar is ideally situated about 22km away from some of the most beautiful beaches and coves, including naturist beaches, in the Natural Park Cabo de Gata. On the other hand Níjar is ideal for the winter, tranquil, relaxing holiday lovers with ample trekking or biking area in the Natural Park Cabo de Gata. In Níjar you can find all the necessary amenities within walking distance. Much of the village´s traditional architecture remains, both in the Barrio de las Eras and in the high part of the village, where the streets narrow to receive you. Níjar retains a firmly rooted tradition of craftwork. Many families continue working with ceramics and weaving- looms, using techniques which have been handed down from generation to generation. |
